Question on the naked/premade lvl 28s

Been trying to scroll through past updates but haven't seen what I was looking for. Could someone quick explain why we get premade nakes/geared 28s? Is this just a way to get people into pvp quicker? Is this permanent or just in for the moment? I just dont see why we get the option of premade 28s when we could make those lol

Quicker access. There will be people who decide not to play because they don't want to bother getting to 28 or they won't be able to get to peity or whatever. Many people don't make it out of normal, something that surprised me but is true. This gives them a way to jump right in.
I do think all blues is kind of shitty as it might as well be whites as it won't compete with even the average LLDer but the gems are nice. I've rerolled using them a few times just to get the gems to test ideas. Finished 17th in Rampage - Peaked at 11th

I'll also add that they mentioned on the Developer Twitch stream that their 4 month leagues get a lot more attention (players) at the beginning of the race/league than at the end. So they felt PvP, if it was 95% ready, should be rolled out alongside the new leagues - while there were a lot of players on concurrently to really give it a boost. |
