Mayas_Warrior's Hideout submission
Like many of the other people that have posted in here. I have received a lot of praise for my hideout when I have hosted some map runs. So I put a few finishing touches on it and am posting it for HOW submission finally.
I have turned a backstreet hideout into a warm outdoors environment. The idea is that it is a nook within a ruined city. You come in at the waypoint which is positioned in front of a small temple. Tucked inside the small temple is the blessing font with a woman and child seated beside it. Also tucked in here is the Artisan's Bench, well disguised by a statue, it maintains its functionality. In another corner of the lower section you find the headstones among some skulls on spikes and a green swirling fog. Down the wall from that you see a large tent. Tucked up in this tent are the armorers bench, bowmakers tool, and sharpening stone. Most of the masters are to be found in this lower section. Moving up either set of stairs takes you into a spider webbed forested area. A baby spider pet has been placed in this area, but unfortunately doesn't stay within it. This area is where you will find Vorici. Going up the next set of stairs will lead you to the enclosed residence area. A decorated tree and several items help to conceal the mapping device while still leaving it functional. Falling leaves have been added to give this area more atmosphere. Leo has been placed close by to facilitate selling of items during mapping runs. The stash is also near by to aid in this. Mapping portals are cramped but all remain functional. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8mP1z441GE&feature=youtu.be Mapping device area and stashes. Leo placed nearby the mapping area and stashes for ease of doing map run sales. Vorici in the webbed forest. One of the two baby spider pets running about. The entry point to my hideout. Also the location of all the crafting benches. Two wetas and a basilisk can usually be found down here. A stairway view of the blessing font and the artisans bench. The video isn't that good I know... Last edited by Mayas_Warrior#6638 on Mar 4, 2015, 5:01:16 PM
