How do you deal with temp chains as a melee?

I get completely wrecked when i get chain temped.

Temp chain them back.

Also most of the arenas are very small so it's easy to put bear traps in their kite path.

Curse them back, use a recovery potion, use the curse mirror shield, 1-3 hit out-dps with good resistances or just run around the pillar and when close, attack. Feels frustrating in the first few fights but there's always a way.
