it all becomes clear [act 4 spoilers warning. enter if you dare]

in my previous "what's the final boss of Act 4?" thread, someone linked alleged data-mined images of all Act 4 Bosses, together with names and even possible stats and skills. now Chris posted an image of a fight, where the boss matches the data-mined model of Shavronne Of Umbra. this leaves only one option, for the identity of the final boss of Act 4: Malachai. but I'm still curious about the fight's settings, the horrible things he will unleash upon the Exiles, and - equally importantly - the link to the Lore. most notably, Dialla. she loved Malachai. he gave her gems. she's supposed to be his ally, and yet she guides the Exile through Act 3 and 4, on a quest to stop "the nightmare". why? It will most likely be a multiple tiered fight with consecutive bosses, kinda like baal's throne + baal.
I'm pretty excited at this notion as it means it will be a great and bountiful area to farm. Second-class poe gamer

Nope, I shall smite all your opinions with my flawless LOGIC! (aka bewildering hopes).
The giant squid/snail/molusk of DOOOOM as portrayed on the doors of the Septer of god and the ancient seal (once broken)in the vaal ruins!!! The logic being squids have ink, the darkness can look quite inky :D I know I know, flawless deduction! :D Malachai was mearly a mechanic for the Doom Squid to once more, have its time in the world :D Did I mention that squid ink can also cause halusinations.......THIS WORLD IS AN ILLUSION EXILE!!!!! :D GG GGG Existence is infinite, a weave of live and dead, beyond the understanding of the many mortal threads.

Who knows what Dialla's intentions really are but they have made it clear that she has betrayed everyone that she has ever been involved with. So I am thinking that at some point she will probably betray us as well. I don't know if she could actually be the last boss but I get the feeling that we will eventually fight her, maybe the next atziri

According to concept art found in another thread, we still have the following to fight before finding Malachai:
- Shavronne - Deodre - Maligaro - Piety PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. |
