That ring is insane! Even all the PVE reddit crowd is saying it's OP so we'll see if it stays like it is but given GGG's track record it probably will lol.

Ice, this ring doesn't help ST as ST is not a melee skill, so you will still need a bleed weapon for ST or any non-melee attacks.

For PVE leveling, this ring is definitely unmatched for melee - equip the marohi w/ EQ and this ring and that's about all you need. For endgame/pvp, I don't think it would be the ring of choice (for me or builds like mine anyway). I say this not just because I have the BiS bleed weapon, but because wearing kaoms/bloodgrip/hrimnors (or devoto's), you rely on your rings for res to stay capped/overcapped. You could get tons of res on jewels on tree, but then how many mods are you wasting when you could have gotten more dmg/life and just put bleed on your weapon. Also, poison is very nice but w/o linking rapid decay to poison gem (rapid decay only boosts other gems), it just isn't as formidable as the bleed itself.



But if you are leveling, can spare the res, or are already outfitted for an Essence Wurm ring this is definitely an insane item!

Sad thing is that makes melee assassin even more useless as it been prior to 2.3, nothing is comparable with 100% bleed and poison chance.

if i could find will to flip/farm, i'd do mind fang inquisitor leap slam. bleed is counterable easily with the new anti bleed boots
