The Oriath's Eden Garden - Greengroove's Standard hideout
The Oriath's Eden Garden is a great destination for anyone in need of some well deserved leisure time after a long day of hacking and slashing around the atlas. It is located on the beautiful island of Oriath, not too far from the mythic city of Theopolis. In this hideout you will find a suiting calm environment. Away from the distractions that the capitol can offer. It features large open spaces with everything you may need at a convenient distance. The beach is right next to the main square. But it's not all about the leisure! No. In fact there's a myriad of things to do in The Oriath's Eden Garden. You can craft your items in the town area as well as check the notice board. There is always something going on. And if that is not enough you can talk to some of the most experienced masters in Wraeclast! Elreon and Catarina have always something to teach you. And if you are in need for some practice you can talk to Vagan or Leo. They will make sure you are never bored. Vorici will be able to help you with your crafting but really you can never know what he is up to... And for last but not least we have a beautiful natural shrine on top of the hill. The "centerpiece" and most important place in this hideout. You can travel anywhere and discover new places on the atlas from this convenient location. Welcome to The Oriath's Eden Garden, enjoy your stay. Here's a quick run around The Oriath's Eden Garden. Massive thanks to LiftingNerdBro, Hegemony and especially Project PT for featuring this hideout in their Podcast The Lioneye's Watch Podcast #11 with special guest Ziggy D. Welcome to The Oriath's Eden Garden park. Here is where we start the tour. From the park you can go down to the beach and habitation zone. There you can get your grub on, read a book or craft or anything else you may need,... This is the main square. Anything you need will be found in this area. You will be able to craft in this corner. You can ask Vagan if you need help. Here you can check the noticeboard or talk to Elreon. Maybe even get a boot for some light reading on the beach. The friendly local merchant can sell you food and fish and beverages. Leo is a jolly fellow. He can tell you about adventures or even direct you to his favorite spots in the town. The beach is where you can truly leave all your worries behind and just hang or maybe have a swim. We also have some weird places around. But we will let you discover them when you come visit. Back up in the park and up towards the shrine. Tora in her element. It feels like home. This is the entrance to the most important place in this hideout. A place of worship and exploration. Welcome to the sacred shrine area on top of the hill. You will be able to travel far and discover new worlds from this convenient location. But remember that the shrine is a sacred place of worship. This is just one of the many similar stone circles that can be found scattered all over Wraeclast. The most well known one of such stone formations can be found in The Western Forrest. The exact provenience of these circles is to this day still a mystery, but we think they could be from the ancient Vaal people origins dating ~1000 BIC. Next to the shrine you will find the stashes for convenient storing of your most precious findings. This hideout is a homage to the "creators". The park itself is very old in its origin. It's only in Rampage times, that the taming of the wildness began and today's shape started to form. Precisely it happened with the introduction of the Forsaken Masters back in August 2014. It took a long time to make it all work as the architect had envisioned. While most of the hard work was made back in Rampage a lot of additions were made much later during the times of Torment and Warbands. Even after all that time the architect would still come back from time to time to plant a bush or tree. It's only at the end of the groundbreaking Prophecy league that the hideout was truly completed. It now contains a total of 750 decorations, which happens to be the maximum number of decorations allowed. Therefore the architect can now rest and start to focus on new projects.

Great work on those small details! I'm loving the beach house vibe :)

Probably #1 h/o. Especially if there is no 'shivering' when you move on all that groundwork.
It's amazing how natural everything looks. A kid with a magnifying glass. . . looming down on the anthill. Eventually one is going to get you. Last edited by Maceless#1951 on Aug 25, 2016, 4:29:38 AM

Thanks!
I'd say It's hardly #1 as there are many awesome hideouts in Wraeclast. Nevertheless thanks for the kind words. Much love. There is some "shivering" going on on the leaves on the ground due to the sun reflections in the morning dew. That is however a very natural occurrence. The mornings especially can get quite chilly near the beach and that is the result. Greengroove's Loot Filter Scripts: poeurl.com/OMs
