Most active PVP league?

I am a long-time POE player, and I am interested in getting into LLDing with my friend who just started. What league is most used for LLD? I don't my friend to level a Breach character and then find out everyone PVPs in standard or something. Thanks, look forward to dueling you soon :D

If you wanna get into it and compete without having to invest much you should start on breach. ProjectPt is streaming lld tourneys on a weekly basis. Standard is for those who are pretty serious about it. Most of the lld'ers there are doing pvp since years and have invested a lot into their builds.
