[3.6] Demi's TasteTheLemon, CI Or Life Cospri's Malice CoC Discharge Assassin Build Guide

All of your answers can be found here. 3.5 Notes: Cast on Critical Strike gem was buffed to shit, the cooldown is now .15 seconds instead of .5 seconds. WE CAST INSANELY FAST NOW. We also have Shaper Cooldown Recovery Speed on Belts and Boots to reduce the CoC CD down to .11ish seconds :) 3.6 Synthesis Changes: Discharge damage was buffed across the board, that's good. Crit was buffed as well. We can actually get 100% Crit now! The only other changes will be slight pathing alterations across the Witch/Shadow areas of the tree. Once POB updates I'll be sure to fix the skill trees but until then you can figure it out on your own right? ;) 3.7 Legion Changes: Slight problem, the Shield Charge changes mean we can no longer CoC Shield Charge Discharge as the skill now counts as a crit with your Shield instead of your main hand weapon. Guess we're just Cyclone now lol. Accuracy caps at 100% now so that's a buff. _____________________________________________________________________________________  Welcome to my Cospri's Discharge! Pick a random AOE skill like Firestorm or Blade Vortex, whatever you like. Unstable Infusion: Gets us started with Power Charge Generation. Deadly Infusion: Grants base critical strike chance and crit multi PER power charge. Ambush and Assassinate: HUGE crit chance/multiplier vs Enemies on Full Life. Makes it very hard not to crit with Shield Charge, plus free Culling Strike with crits! To trigger Cast on Critical Strike you must first Attack and then IF you crit you will cast the linked spells (or the ones in Cospri's) That means with Elemental Equilibrium, we hit with Cold Damage (negative fire/lightning res to enemies) and then Discharge (lightning/fire/cold damage, reseting to negative cold res) and then hit again. Flipping enemy resists for free damage! We get Power Charges on every Crit with Voll's Protector. Cospri's Malice: Prioritize Attack speed as it's your clear speed with Shield Charge. Added Cold to Spells next.. Helm: ES/Resists/Accuracy/Intelligence Chest: Voll's Protector (has no range of rolls, +1 Gems corruption/+2 AOE Gems are best for DPS) Shield: ES/Spell Damage/Intelligence/Resists/Spell Crit Gloves: ES/Res/Attack Speed/Accuracy Boots: Inya's Epiphany (Prioritize Intelligence) Belt: Cooldown Recovery Speed, ES/Resists/whatever else Amulet: Voll's Devotion (Grants Endurance Charge Generation) Can use Bisco's if you want to MF. 3L IN COSPRI'S MALICE: Discharge, Controlled Destruction, Increased Critical Strikes This setup casts anytime we crit with any melee skill (Shield Charge/Cyclone) 4L Shield Charge: Shield Charge, Increased Critical Strikes, Faster Attacks, Fortify Super fast, high crit setup with a free defensive buff. 6L Discharge: Cyclone, Cast on Critical Strike, Discharge, Increased Critical Strikes, Power Charge on Critical, Concentrated Effect Highest sustained dps single target setup, used basically only on bosses/hard uniques/rares. 3L Max Level CWDT: Cast When Damage Taken, Immortal Call, Ice Golem. Defensive physical immunity as well as crit/accuracy. 3L Auras: Discipline, Blasphemy, Poacher's Mark Big chunk of flat energy shield alongside free accuracy, double flask charges gained, mana gained on hit, and frenzy charge generation for damage/attack speed. 3L Buffs: Vaal Righteous Fire, Increased Duration, War Banner BIG DPS BOOST for bosses as well as free Adrenaline (damage/attack/castspeed) if you drop the banner. 3 Random 1Ls: Portal, Flame Dash Quality of Life links for going up and down ledges/portaling out. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jewel Stat Priority IN ORDER:

You should probably mention that this is pretty unplayable since there is no instant leech for ES anymore and you will struggle alot without godly gear

hi, I was playing 2.6 with coc discharge (just in weapon cause i dont have the 30% chance not to consume charges on discharge enchant on helm)
my question is, since I got all my talents reseted, and im looking for a build with coc discharge. Is this build viable with my gear? |

Hey, I am in the process of attempting basically the life based version of this build. In POB i've managed to get about 5.3k life with slightly less dps. I was wondering why you choose purity of fire/lightning as your aura's? If we are already max all resists (I'm sitting at about 30 over max for fire/lightning and slightly over with cold) what other aura's would you consider best to run?
I've been considering herald of Ice + a curse/blasphemy setup but not certain on anything yet. |
