Lush Coastal Encampment

First time sharing my hideout outside of showing off in master rotas, haha.

Here we start off with a simple gathering spot for the masters, a little cramped but cozy. I've done more master-themed sub sections in the past but this early in the league I just wanted everything accessible.

I was interested in seeing how many of the natural features of the hideout I could play with. Its nice to have variety from the empty hideouts of trade and public parties. But I didn't want to completely cover up the base. After spending last league re-tiling unearthed hideout with paths, I felt like doing something more free-form.

I ended up using a lot of colossus pieces throughout the walls initially. And while dragging things around I had the idea to try steps up to the master area. It was made with colossus sword pieces alternating rotation and position. The transition was reshaped to give the hideout a different feel, and it only took minor tweaking to hide parts of the swords I didn't want showing. (easier to see at full resolution)

Between the Waypoint and the masters we have the standard Map device/Nevali/Stash layout for quick mapping. I stuck with my normal device which is usually just a table. (the one with the animated orrery) Sometimes with the arcane flame, and added a lever (disk 2) to make it looked hand cranked.

It wasn't totally intentional, but I like how it lines up with the circles in the sand, it stands out a bit more thanks to all the added greenery and tiles around the edges of the area covering any other patches.

Couple of mats around the waypoint, so you don't track sand everywhere. :)

Nothing too special about the crafting benches, I tried to add small accents around a few of them like armour near the workbench and weapons at the sharpening wheel. Very minimal to keep access smooth and simple.

The whole above section is what is most used, so I kept it themed. But the rest of the hideout gets a bit experimental.

Probably the most unoriginal transition ever, just throwing in what felt like it belonged.

Have a cage for my first "favorite" pet, the Exalted Rhoa. And on the right you can see the beginning of the cage enclosure I have for the majority of my pets to wander around in.

A monument to past characters and their achievements. The statue went through a few iterations. Originally it was just the golden statues and blue/red crystal but grew over time as I played with it. (Waiting on friends to get back/roll maps/etc) It consists of a golden arch, grigor's walls, flowers, and rostrum.

And finally, what is essentially a dumping ground for MTX decorations that I haven't gotten a chance to really use. Just playing around with them and seeing what works.
