Running dual Shimmeron with 6 power charges using Spell Totems (4)
to cast Freezing Pulse. Often the degen from the Shimmeron crits is applied to character (in error I believe). To prove, I installed a Discharge gem and when the degen was observed, cast Discharge - degen stopped instantly. Was not casting any other skill that could generate crits i.e. no Frost Bomb, Flame Dash or Shield Charge. Thanks for any help. Decree of Winter has a 5% crit chance.

Long standing issue. If the entity that cast the spell is no longer valid, then it gets assigned to the player. Hence why trapper and totem toons can sometimes get blood stacks.
