[3.5] Marauder Chieftan - Consecrated path No Crit 2 Hand - Looking for advises

Hello fellow heroes,

I'm sorry if my topic is not on the correct sub forum - I hope that you can move it if it isn't.

I'm looking for advises on how to improve my started build for Betrayal league.

The next point on the passive tree are planned to be spent on Jewel sockets (4 of them). Here is the first question: Ideal jewel stats ? Melee damage + maximum life % ?
Is there any other helpful unique that I should add (apart from belly which will be later when I can afford it), any better sword that I should look for ?
Regarding the GEM setup, I don't really use the vaal double strike, so I'm planing to exchange it for cast on damage taken+immortal call+increased duration+something on the boots.

I tried to check for a similar build, but I see that every other consecrated path is playing with critical and one hands.

What are the pros and cons of these and should I go for a complete reroll of this hero ?

Also any suggestions on the Pantheon's to use and update ?
