No I am not affiliated with any of the tools above in anyway, I'm just trying to spread good knowledge as these three tools are needed to successfully play this game, there are several videos on YouTube on how to install and utilize these tools. If people ask for it I may create my own updated guide on using these with synthesis and in standard league. First of all, this is my first build guide after playing this game for so many years. I've played many variants of the Vaal spark and self cast spark builds in past league's and its just simply my play style. Great build scale-able for all end game content. Comfortable farming Uber Labs after you break the gear barrier a bit. T1-T16 Maps, Guardians, Atziri and Shaper downed in Legacy League and hope to kill Uber Elder and Uber Atziri(lesser of the two for me) this league. There was a whole lot of chaos builds popping up around Trickster and admittedly I leveled using contagion / ED with much ease. This build is a Crit/ Ci based build that scales nutts into the endgame, not a cheap build but can be worked towards with a life build, refer to Leveling section/ Alternate Life Build below. Videos

First off, I'm going to advise on how I like to level the Shadow class, there are many ways to level in this game that will allow you to branch off to the CI Crit Spark build with major gear overhaul and tree fixing with Orb of Regrets.
I start by building straight to the MoM tree node and doing a life/Energy Shield/Mana hybrid build with Essence Drain and Contagion as my main skills on 4L and a 3L Wither Totem setup. This pretty much carries me into the late game/ maps with ease using the best rares I find with ANY combination of Life/Mana/Energy shield and some resistances on them. Also I recommend some unique "leveling" gear along the way like Lifesprig, Seven-league step and Lochtonial Caress etc. I will have all recommended unique gear, appropriate low level mapping gear and Life build tree in the Path of building for this leveling portion linked below. P.S. - Don't pick up second Curse node before buying a Witchfire Brew Flask. (As said in most ED/Contagion guides.) This almost all of us figure out on our own.
1. If you are playing the life based ED/Contagion build I recommend not spamming your flasks as much and cast contagion as you see mobs enter your screen and casting Essence drain in there direction. This will typically kill any size pack instantly and slays bosses quickly with Wither totem, Blasphemy Curse and Witchfire Flask. 2. If you are pushing into my CI Crit Sparkster build it is extremely tanky. I spam flasks a lot as they come back up quickly. I move from pack to pack using flame dash and still casting spark/vaal spark. Never stopping until I get to the boss which dies in under 10 sec. typically due to the high Crit multiplier of the build. If you want to feel like a god, I recommend playing this build with high end expensive gear it is a lot of fun. YOU CANNOT face tank the end game bosses with this build, YOU MUST do mechanics but put this together with its high damage you can kill them all deathless. DO NOT - Run Ele Reflect/ No Regen Maps. Build definitely not in final form, not sure how it could be though yet honestly. Anyways, I know I use some UN-orthodox gem's in my links to make things work that I havn't quite figured out yet. Mainly Mana is the issues but I hope to switch from Mana Leech to something outside of a curse to solve the issues, +3 or more Mana on hit doesn't work well either. Any suggestions would be awesome. The 6L defensive setup is also different but I've been loving it.
