I’m level 82 and I’m doing around 5m damage if I’m right???

With all buffs applied on my tectonic slam chieftain, do I multiply the tooltip dps with the attacks per second? The tooltips dps with maxed buffs is around 1.2 million. And the attacks per second is 4.2, not sure how to calculate it but I’m guessing I do a lot of damage? Also I’m so confused about what shaper dps means. Do I do 5m shaper dps? I still am wearing crappy gear that I put a 2-3 exalts in. Thanks for the help boiiiiis.

not really, The tool tip is what is says it is your dps. But it doesn't account enemy resistances, curses, elemental penetration, etc.

The tooltip is in general not very accurate, however using that metric its dps showing is your current dps. Attacks per second do not matter as thats already accounted for (DPS= Damage Per Second)
