LA Shadow: Energy Shield vs Life

Are you sure this works? It seems like you're stretching really thin to get to the Templar area, but you're not getting the ES passives.

its one of the worst thing ever, due to...

1. can not get many auras due to clarity+diciplane.
2. can not get many passives due to ES nodes are scattered apart, vaal pact, ghost reaver is needed (those are all far away).
3. status effects and how you need to get iron reflex/unwavering stance= more points spent.
4. can not use determination+grace due to above.

I personally think eldritch battery is better idea than ci, due to purity and many survival auras and chance to get life regen.

if we were to look into ci vs life regen builds, ci is far behind.

Bow/Shadow is very gear dependent and status effects suck (I suppose GGG should fix this) but:
- Clarity isn't mandatory as you may think (high phis DMG + mana leech)
- potential HP are as high as pure HP builds (ES nodes aren't that spreaded as you may think)
- DMG output it's just the same (again the difference is all in the equipment); CI/Shadow should just take base phis dmg since it gives more LL & ML

bow is just very gear dependent, and ci is just very gear dependent, its not like you can just roll good life items and u can survive most maps (except maps) but for ci you have to roll +ES or +% ES

and another issue is that you wont have any armor or evasion so you are always a paper craft.

So I decided to go into both life and ES without getting CI nor EB. I'll have approximately 3k life and 1-1.5k ES after I change some of my items.
