This guide is another berserker cyclone build that uses impale, however it works differently from the previous build, and is also tankier with increase to overall DPS, but costs alot more as well. due to multiple endgame uniques / influenced mods I have concluded it can not be a league starter, therefore I will not be including a leveling section.

There is a version that uses Kaom's heart. This version will include both berserker and champion ascendancies (I don't really see a reason to use champion instead of berserker, but this is to avoid people asking for other ascendancies just because they dont want a berserker or marauder, if you would like to know my opinion, I would say to definitely go for berserker) and this version will require multiple item switches, both versions are seperated, and I repeat anything that is used in both build so make sure you read the version you want to use.

2. Pros and Cons

+ Can reach over 30 million Shaper DPS without using Abyssus or Aspect of the Carnage
+ Absurdly overpowered life leeched per second that can reach up to 76% of our maximum life per second!, and that value is even higher in the version that uses Kaom's heart, which can reach up to 87% of our maximum life per second!
+ Fast
+ Access to multiple defensive bonuses including Endurance charges, Attack and Spell dodge, and Blind (version 2 does not have access to blind)
+ Massive health pool that can reach over 6k without using Kaom's Heart
+ 9 Impale stacks (11 if playing with Champion)
+ Immune to Curses while channeling
+ Can do Hall of Grandmasters with a single gem swap (Impale support => Block Chance Reduction support)
+ Massive Berserk (with 40+ rage) uptime, and can get 50 Rage before the fight even started without any mobs around (version 1 only)
+ Can counter reflect with a single ring swap and pantheon change (look at "Possible Questions" for more details


- AoE is not massive, which will hinder clearspeed in open maps.
- Negative Chaos Resistance
- Cannot do no leech maps, and reduced recovery can be deadly and should be avoided.
- Not viable to League starting
- Not viable for Hardcore or SSF
- Difficult to cap elemental resistances, due to many double-influenced items

The build might not be using alot of uniques, but the budget is very high, you should be ready to spend at least 50 exalts without considering our watcher's eye jewel. most of the build Gear are Endgame uniques, Cluster & Jewels with specific modifiers, Influenced or double-influenced items.

There is an additional version in PoB (no warcry) which is basically the setup I used for some of the recordings, while I was still making this build, and I am too lazy launch the game and record all over again as I've quit until the next league
(to avoid confusion, some things are not matching, being: taking Flawless Savagery instead of Warbringer, using explode chest mod instead of attack crit chance chest mod, and not using warcry and warcry clusters. so it is inferior to the Main Build but it works almost exactly the same, just not using warcry and berserk all the time and has around 15% less DPS and also less survivability (since berserk isn't active while mapping / most of the time during boss fights), so I figured I could just upload this instead of having to launch the game, buy maps and frags, doing alot of maps for sirus and finding the delve bosses again etc.)

Version 1

1. Equipment
Weapon

Starforge is being used in the build.
It offers very high Physical DPS (can reach over 700) and gives easy access to Shock, it also increases maximum life, and increases our Area of Effect.
These are all very good stats to use with the build, but there is 1 issue with the sword, and that is its crit chance, being as low as 5% base crit chance. However do not worry as the build easily takes care of it, resulting in over 80% effective crit chance with flasks active, and over 50% crit chance without a single flask active.

Body Armor

Double-influenced Astral plate will solve / help 2 massive issues with this build being its mana sustain and crit chance.
With the Warlord influence, you can get the mod "Socketed Attacks have -15 to Total Mana Cost", and which the Elder influence you can get the mod "Attacks have +1–1.5% to Critical Strike Chance", combined with an awakener orb, look for life modifiers and resistance modifiers (and dont forget they can also be crafted), or buy one that already have them.

Gloves

Atziri Acuity provides a very powerful modifier "You have Vaal Pact if you have dealt a critical strike recently - in the past 4 seconds" This allows us to regenerate life outside of combat, and leech twice as fast while fighting.
aside from that, it gives up to +75 flat life, increased critical strike chance and a big chunck of armour. Corrupted implicts are not required but will boost DPS.

Boots

Double-influenced Two-Toned boots are the best idea if you are crafting them. since capping resistances is going to be hard already, these boots will give us up to 24% to total elemental resistances just because of their implict modifiers.
With the Basilisk influence, you can get the mod "You have tailwind if you dealt a critical strike recently" increasing our action speed by 10%, and with the Redeemer influence you can get the mod "5-10% to gain Elusive on critical strike" increasing our movement speed, and provides us with attack and spell dodge.
If you can craft a prefix, craft + to maximum life, or movement speed if you don't already have them on your item, and if you can craft a suffix instead, use it to cap elemental resistances.

Helmet

Double-Influenced Helmet will increase our DPS and provide increased effect of fortify in 1 item.
First make sure to use an equippable base, that has 1 of the following Helmet Enchantments with decending preference:
1. Berserk has 30% increased Buff Effect
2. Blood and Stand has 40% increased buff effect
3. 15% increased Cyclone Attack Speed
4. Blood Rage grants additional 12% increased Attack Speed
5. 40% increased Cyclone Damage

After you have your base, you will need to use a Crusader Exalted orb to turn it into a crusader item.
With the crusader influence, you can get the mod " +20-25% increased effect on fortify", at 25% increased effect it will result in fortify making you take an additional 5% less damage from hits. With the Elder influence, you can get the mod "Nearby Enemies take 9% increased Physical Damage" increasing our DPS.
both modifiers are suffixes, and can be further crafted with "suffixes cannot be changed" exalt crafting for those wishing to maximize the amount of life on their helmet.

Amulet
Any amulet base that gives dexterity (not Onyx) will do.

There are 4 main mods we are looking on the amulet

1. # to maximum Life
2. % to Global Critical Strike Multiplier
3. to Dexterity
4. +#% to all Elemental Resistances
(optional, if possible)
5. Adds # to # Physical Damage to Attacks
6. +# to Accuracy Rating

Add intrinsic catalysts if you need more dex, or add fertile catalysts instead.

Annoint your amulet with “Discipline and Training”.

Rings

1. Mark of the Elder is a Steel ring that provides up to 10% increased maximum life, and up to 80% increased attack damage if your other ring is a shaper item, and both these modifiers can be increased with the use of catalysts. since we are using Cyclone, we are already immune to stun while channeling the skill.


2. Double-influenced Steel ring will give us access to a powerful curse, and massively increase our DPS.
With the Shaper influence, we can get the mod "Curse enemies with level 12 Assassins mark on hit" increasing our critical strike chance against cursed enemies and making cursed enemies take increased damage from critical strikes. With the Warlords influence, you can get the mod "+% to Global Critical Strike Multiplier" which not only enhance our DPS, but grants us access to 2 good prefixes modifiers that can roll on our ring. both modifiers are suffixes, and can be further crafted with "suffixes cannot be changed" exalt crafting for those wishing to maximize the potential of the ring.

Belt

Hunter Influenced Stygian vise to get as much elemental resistances and max life with an abyssal jewel socket, With the hunter influence you can get the mod "+% increased maximum life" further increasing our maximum life.

Abyssal Jewel

We are looking for 3 specific modifiers , + to maximum life, + to global critical strike multiplier and chance to gain onslaught on kill.

Normal Jewels

a Watcher's eye jewel with the modifier "Impales you inflict last 2 additional Hits while using Pride" will increase our DPS by a massive amount.

6 Rare jewels with the modifier 5–7% increased maximum Life, and at least 2 of the 3 following modifiers:
1. +9–12% to Global Critical Strike Multiplier
2. +12–15% to Melee Critical Strike Multiplier
3. +15–18% to Critical Strike Multiplier with Two Handed Melee Weapons

You can use the 4th mod for Attributes or Resistances if possible.

Cluster Jewels

2 Large Cluster jewels with the following modifiers:

Adds 8 Passive Skills
Added Small Passive Skills grant: 10% Increased Attack Damage
1 Added Passive Skill is Deep Cuts
1 Added Passive Skill is Drive the Destruction
1 Added Passive Skill is (any notable)
2 Added Passive Skills are Jewel Sockets


4 Medium Cluster jewels with the following modifiers:

Medium Cluster jewel #1:

Adds 4-5 Passive Skills
Added Small Passive Skills grant: Channelling Skills deal 12% increased Damage

7. Possible Questions

How do I consistently generate Rage? High Berserk Uptime? How can I have 50 Rage before the fight even started?

In the Main Build, every time you warcry you generate 10 Rage, this will allow you to have max Rage before the fight even started, mid phases etc. because it generates 10 Rage every time you warcry it will allow you to have high berserk uptime as long as you hold to warcry key.


When do I use berserk?

Whenever available, Berserk has great uptime.


You added an optional skillgem setup that replaces Ice Golem to Vaal Molten Shell, but wouldn't it interfere with Immortal Call?

The idea is to use it before being hit by a strong boss attack, the hit that triggers CWDT, will not be mitigated by Immortal Call, so if you are about to get hit by for example, shaper slam, you could use Molten Shell instead before you are hit.


I don't have enough currency, is there anything I can replace with something cheaper until I can buy the upgrade?

You can replace your helmet and boots with other rares, and you can use non-influenced Stygian Vise, that will result in less Movement Speed, less DPS, less Effect of Fortify, and less Maximum Life. This is by no means a budget version, but a temporary replacement.


When do I use Vaal Molten Shell?

Before you are about to get hit by a strong attack, like shaper slam.


How can I counter Physical Reflect?

By using Sibyl's Lament Coral Ring, and replacing the minor god Pantheon to Yugul, you will take 105% reduced reflected physical damage, this basically means you won't take reflected physical damage as long as you are not taking increased physical damage (which counts toward reflected as well, for example: Abyssus, Aspect of the Carnage, Sextant mod)
Replace it with Mark of the Elder, and make sure it is used in the correct ring slot.

Bro cool looking build, I'm trying to buy stuff for now and start later. Quick question tho, you're skill tabs show your cyclone in weapon but POB says armor. I do think you mean to put it in armor cause of the -mana cost on armor. Please clarify. Thanks man.
