Does atk speed on a weapon effect shield crush?

I ask this question since I have been doing a little experimentation and I noticed that at least the tooltip does not acknowledge any difference. I have looked at a few guides and saw that other people did stack attack speed on a weapon, however now I'm uncertain if that even works.

Attack speed on weapons is local, unless otherwise specified.

It shouldn't increase your Shield Crush attack speed.

Awesome that's kind of what I was thinking, I just wanted to be sure. I assume then that goes for accuracy as well, unless its to global accuracy so that now helps me at least decide how to move.

I think accuracy is always global but someone smarter than me on mods will need to help out.

They were probably using Prismatic Eclipse, which has 12% global attack speed per green socket. Local attack speed can also still be useful on some stat sticks for faster leap slam or other attacks.

Flat accuracy is local, but I believe % accuracy is always global.

Main-hand weapon stats only affect off-hand if it's "global." You're best stat stick for a shield build is Prismatic Eclipse. Easy and cheap 1c price, and you can get 12% global attack speed with each green socket on it.

Conditional stats are always global, so that includes stuff like increased attack speed while a rare or unique enemy is nearby, even if that stat is on a weapon.

Just this stat on its own is inferior to Prismatic Eclipse, but you can keep it in mind when crafting rare stat sticks that have other mods that make them more powerful than that.
