[Xbox] keyboard UI instantly closes

Can't send a message in a chat, soon as I press "A" to enter a message the keyboard UI pops up for half a second and disappears. This happened after I accidentally typed/sent a trade message in local chat. I've tried logging out and in, and have tried closing PoE and launching it again; also tried restarting the Xbox. Logged in that time and now I have a message at the top of chat saying "chat functions are disabled due to account restrictions.

Tried subscribing to xbox live gold because the problem sounded like it was an account problem, now the error message is gone and the keyboard still vanishes as soon as it pops up.

Found a temporary fix, instead of pressing "A" to open chat, hold "A" while wagging the left control stick around frantically; about a second later let go of "A" and stop wagging the left control stick around at roughly about the same time; hope it stops on the keyboard UI. This may take a few attempts, doesn't always work; but eventually it does for me.
