Applause for "Bindles"
I've been meaning to note this since A5 came out, but thank you belatedly for the use of the word "bindle" for the rolled-up packs on sticks seen in the slave pens and similar areas.
Not come across it for years, back then it was in some US SF (maybe Ted Sturgeon or James Blish) in the word bindlestiff, for hobo. Nice evocative word and it's good research to have used it so tidily - with neat unrolling animations, too! I understand this is a role playing game, but I don't think the best role to play should be shopkeeper. - AlteraxPoe Last bumped on Oct 5, 2022, 3:52:34 PM

Bindle appreciation thread.
I remember them from older cartoons. Recently went to a train museum and bindles were mentioned there since trains and hobo culture. Bindle's are neat. |
