BANNED Account for using Two clients on the same computer

Hello !

Here is a little of my background: I am almost 45, have a 4 years old kid.
I definitely don't have the time to play like 15-20 years ago when I could be top 10 sorc d2 hc on ladder.

This season starting in August, it was a good opportunity to find a way to have some old school geek holidays while the grandparents take care of the son.

So the plan was: let's do 5-days non stop of POE league start ! you guys know what I mean.
But because it's 'extraordinary time' let's even try to play 2 characters at a same time 1 Mana Guardian 1 Occultist Curser.

The rules as I understand them are:

~ No more than 2 clients can be run at the same time on one computer. Anything more will need to be run on a separate PC in the room (i.e laptop on the side).

~ VMWare and other types of emulators for running more than 2 clients on a PC is not allowed.

~ Absolutely no input mirroring allowed; each PC needs to be self-contained with its own mouse/keyboard etc inputs.

It was very important for me to not be against the TOS, I have 5 days only, no more. Banning is not an option.
You read the title so you know what is coming

Day4 (yesterday) my second character, the occultist curser got banned.

- I only had 2 clients
- I didn't use any VMWare or any type of emulator
- I had NO input mirroring

My gameplay would could be summarized as that:
On occultist: curse (with Vixen it does all the curse in 1 click), vaal discipline if available, alt tab on the templar: rejuv totem, holy relic guardian blessing buff, move, alt tab ...

So why ?
- When I try to login it says: Your account has been banned by an administrator
- On the account it says: Reason: "Breaching Terms of Use"
- The curser occultist was done on a new account on which I never bought anything
- I just hit lvl 90 (ONLY 90 after 4 days, I know, let me tell you I didn't anticipate that playing 2 characters at the same is HAAAAAAARD)
- When buying for gear with my main Account, I was afk a lot with the occultist
- I just equipped a 60c Anathema on the character, I know it seems irrelevent, but I don't know maybe there is a reason

(Damn If I was banned because I followed a tripolarbear video, it would be hilarious)


Bottom Line
- I sent an email to support, but no answer. I know it's league start and gamescom, I mean they didn't even release the new Mystery Boxes !
- I only have 1 day left of gaming, I think I have a mirror drop chance that GGG will unban me before tomorrow, but if I don't try nothing will happen

I was also using two clients on the same computer.
My second account got banned with reason 'Third party software'
That's so sad.

You would not be banned for using 2 clients on the on PC, that has been stated repeatedly as being OK, what you would have been banned for is the software to use the second account without actually doing it manually...that means you move one character then tab the the other client to move the other one.

Would you care to elaborate on this plz?
Because in the past years 1 used the scenario above (like lagewin described) quite a few times (2 Accounts on 2 clients running on one PC) without any problems. Merely to transfer valueable items from my SSF-Acc. to the trade one (this) for sale. Now i'm worried.
Is there a source for this statement?
