Kingsmarch mine not working

First off, I'm a casual carebear, and proplebly one of the fews that like the town mechanics.
But yesterday I got my town up and running and starting getting gold to upgrade workers and facilities. But am stuck atm, since it seems my mine aint working anymore. Last nigth checked all was setup and runing mining the right stuff in the mine, and with assigned miners, and smithy workers removed. Today no increase in my ore, so I checked again, and went for a run/bath and 1½ hours laters still no ore increases. You must find ore on the maps so that workers can mine it.

Okay, so U are telling me that the only way to get ore, is find it in maps ?

Yes. Workers do not produce ore themselves. They only mine the ore you find on the maps.

How is that a joke exactly?
Similar to Delve in a way, you need ore to move from node to node. To get bars, you need miners to mine ore first. ~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.
