The fourth vow and xibaqua
i'm using a fourth vow and have the timeless jewel. my chaos res is 80 and all my ele res are capped. i am still dying almost the same amount as i did before it tried this tech. am i missing something? isnt this supposed to make you super tanky? do i need more than 80 chaos res?

" Your character is private. |

" what other info do you need? i read up on how it works so did they change it now or this only works if you have 100% spell supress also or some other type of defense layer like huge armor? |
|
How are we supposed to know what's killing you? Maybe you only have 1000 HP or 500 armor or whatever?
|
|
" my question was am i doing the tech right or is there more to it? do i need to do more than just slap on the body armor and the jewel that gives me divine flesh? there are too many trolls here who attack others based on their characters so thats why its private |

Almost nothing in the game will make you super tanky without investment. Body armor and jewel will reduce the damage taken, but not very much.

" it seems kind of useless to me. i didnt expect to be immortal but i thought i will surely die a little less often. is it more suited for juggs or someone who has huge armor? i am a necromancer and this tech was suggested for the build. Last edited by Lyutsifer665#1671 on Aug 4, 2024, 5:22:48 AM

If you have almost no armor, 75% ele res and 80% chaos res, this combo will just make it like you have 77.5% ele res.
There could be many reasons. Maybe your elemental/chaos reduction was already fine and you were being killed by phys. Then this combo won't help you, although it will reduce the overall damage. " No one cares about your character, but someone can help fix your build by pointing out some mistake when you ask a question on the forum and have your profile public. |
