[3.25] Juggernaut Boneshatter survivability issue

Hi Exiles,
I've been off for a while and returned to the game recently. I fancied to play a tank build so I can easily take on maps and have some fun.

I found this build: https://www.poebuilds.net/builds/marauder/boneshatter

After following the whole guide, I have pretty much all items, gems and skill tree as indicated in the guide. There's also a video about that build, which is how I got to that build in the first place.

YT video: https://youtu.be/Cs30s6JV8iY?si=yV-eFM4pn-vOgi5W&t=283

My problem is that both, in the guide on POE builder and in the video it's mentioned that this build is super tanky, with 10/10 survivability and my character is not tanky at all. I go to any tier 1 map and I die in a matter of seconds.

My armor is at 27/30k.
Life: about 3k
Res:
- Fire 80%
- Cold 65%
- Lightning 79%
- Chaos 52%

I'm using these auras:
- Determination
- Precision
- Pride
- Vaal Haste on Boss

In the guide, or I think it was in the video, it's mentioned that the character had 185k armor, but I'm not even close to that and I have no idea what I did wrong.

Here's my build: https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/majkkeel/characters?characterName=Hulk_Like_Smash

Any help would be appreciated...
It's quite frustrating not knowing what I'm doing wrong after buying all those items.

Hi, your profile is set to private so people cannot access your characters.

To change that, you would first need to change the settings and then people can try and guess what is wrong.

Sorry, silly issue. Fixed it, should be public now.
No need for vaal haste. Use blood rage. And get some attack speed (25%+ from axe), and other jewels/talents to your liking.

Get some life leech going with some regen. And now, more than ever, it seems spell suppression is way more needed.

You should be able to view my juggs profile, and talent tree. Gotta reach that suppression area. I also fit in "ancestral vision" for ailment avoidance. It will be more costly for sure, but you don't need the 14% suppression on all pieces. 11% suppress on gloves/boots/helm, and open suffix craft your chest for 10% suppression should soft cap you, with the tree points @ 75%. Using ancestral vision, and eldritch orbing your boots will get you to 75% ailment avoidance or higher.

You'll then be like WTF...

Still, you get some badass mobs in a map, they can still destroy you. Generally they'll debuff you and smack you around. I still die from time to time, but vs. bosses and the regular maps, you'll be a god.
On another note - with determination running, want no less than 70k armor. Why? That will cover you (while moving too) from 90% of mobs your level. The more armor the better, as bosses are higher level than the mobs. The sweet spot generally said, is above 100k and bosses won't hurt you as much either.

I'm at about 73k buffed. I'll still need to do upgrading myself, but for mapping and farming for now, I'm alright.
So I got a little update as I realized I didn't have my Labyrinth fully completed, so I did it now and got additional 4 ascendancy class skill points. Turns out of them that I was missing before doubles armor points from my body armor.

Now, with the ascendancy class complete, I have around 50k armor.

Any ideas what could I do next to bust it even more, and may got some more health?

Obviously, you could say get better gear, but I do have 4k armor on body armor, around 500 on helmet, gloves and boots,, as well as some health on these items. I'm not feeling like getting some +30 armor here and +20 there would bust my overall armor and health the level where I would like it to be, if you know what I mean...
For whatever reason I can't view your talent tree. Consider downloading the Path of Building app, and posting to pob.bin site, and getting us your build on there.

Generally, when I'm melee - minimum for t16 mapping I'm aiming for 90% physical damage reduction. And capping all res, and trying to get chaos res to 75%.

That should be perfectly fine for mapping t16. If you want to run harder stuff, 100k or so armor is the sweet spot, fully res capped, and fit spell suppression in there. Try to get suppression to 75%, so 75% of the time you're stopping 50% of spell damage. And depending on how you talent, avoiding ailments too.

It's hard to get above 70,000ish armor while hunting suppression. But jewels can assist with this. Hunt Life% and armor% jewels. They can get pricey though, if they have implicits, like "cannot be affected by corrupted blood", etc. But they are well worth the price in the long run.

Priorities:

Res cap and creep chaos to 75%

soft armor cap to 90% phys damage reduction (soft cap is for lvl 83 regular mobs). Bosses need more armor which I say roughly 100k is sweet spot.

Earn some currency grinding, and start transition to suppression if you can. Not necessary, but if done right, you'll be much more tougher.

The final part to that puzzle is your weapon. The biggest piece of your damage is that. A roughly 1000 6-link phys dps weapon on a non-crit build can net you close to 2million dps. Which is enough to murder bosses, and farm with efficiency.

The crazier damage builds come with cluster jewels, etc. You'll need to farm to start transitioning at that point. :)

So you have an idea of what i'm doing, below is my pob.

And you reverted yours back to private. We can't view it, and in order to use the POB app, you'll need to make it public. We can't see what you don't want to show, but at least show your characters.
