ACCOUNT BANNED FOR WHAT REASON?

Hello GGG,

Apologies to the Uppercased Title as I think this problem is considered as of big importance for us customer/s.

I'll get to the point. I have 2 Accounts. My main account (account name: [Removed by Support]) got banned because of an outstanding chargeback.

1. This is because the card that was used to buy the points was reported to the bank as lost/stolen. This part right here, I DO GET AND UNDERSTAND IT. I already contacted the bank firm thru email.

Sad to say this will just be ignored as they mostly cater walk-ins. The firm is only open on weekdays from 8 am to 5pm and I have work on those days which also coincides with my time availability. So I cant physically go there.

2. My other account (account name: [Removed by Support]) got banned as well. But that account was inactive and I have not played it since then.

No purchases were made as well for that account.

I wanted to play PoE using that account ([Removed by Support]) but it got banned. Can anybody please explain because this is very concerning and confusing.

PS. Very frustrated with your support because they can only be contacted via email and it takes a while for them to respond (cause a lot of emails, I know and understand).

I wanna suggest if its possible to add a LIVE CHAT SUPPORT.

I'm afraid that we aren't able to assist with account-related issues via the forums. You'll need to continue your correspondence with us via email at support@grindinggear.com for us to be able to help you further.

Please be aware that if a chargeback goes through, it costs us substantially (in terms of status/fees) and your account will be permanently banned. You would also not be permitted to create additional accounts to circumvent this.

To clarify, customers buying packs and then charging them back is a major problem for virtual sales. The only recourse we have is to ban users who steal from us in this way. Hopefully this is just a mistake that can be resolved with your payment provider.

That would do it.

As support has pointed out "it costs us substantially (in terms of status/fees)"

But to put it simply, this not only returns the money to you and leaves GGG out of pocket, BUT it comes with GGG having to dispute the charge back, it can also involve additional costs ($20 to $200) and in extreme cases could end up costing thousands of dollars and getting blacklisted by banks which ramps up the cost of doing any sort of buisness.

My previous transactions using my main card had no problems. The card that got me banned is the only problem since this card was my credit card. It was reported as lost/stolen.

Wanted to play the game again by using my other account. No purchases what so ever. But they banned it along with my main.

Dont know if this justified. Just check my previous transactions with my main account. Then judge from there on if its right to ban as well my other accounts.

Was gonna play again and use my main card to buy core packs... but if that is the decision then ok. It is what it is.

Thanks for the 7 years PoE.
PS: I did not expect my bank firm to take an action regarding about this since I just sent them an email. Every bank firm in my country does not usually respond to email inquiries and if they do, it would take them months to do so.
