Runic gauntlet: my kids first online competition

hello everyone! i recently restarted playing this with my kids on hardcore mode and i saw there was a gauntlet coming up soon here. i have played on and off for years. i even beat HC mode with my son back when he was like 7-8 i believe. he is 14 now and i also have my 11 year old daughter playing this time! we will all be joining the gauntlet to see what we can do. my kids are worried about being solo self found HC. SO to encourage them i will be giving them each 1 dollar per level they can attain solo towards buying whatever they want in game! this will be their first actual online competition so thought i would share their story. i will update this post at some point with whats up for any interested! good luck out there exiles!

Hope you've put them on to a more gauntlet friendly build than what I've strapped together.

what a race! that was a ton of fun! my kids had a blast trying to get farther and farther.

i was able to make it to 81 finnishing the campagin near the end of the race after 2 other great very close runs. my son made it to 76! and tapped out after watching me fight trinity to keep his char for later and his money. my daughter struggled hard dying 5 times in the first 24 hours. she eventually got a foot hold and made it to level 30 sadly dying to vaal oversoul on the last day when i bet her extra money to try win or lose cause she was super scared of even fighting vaal.

what a wild ride! on my first run as deadeye i made it to malachi but i died. my son beat him first try! so of course i had to try again my second try i made it to 76 deadeye hitting top 50. i sadly died to trinity. those 2 paved the way for me to build a very strong sunder build with which i was able to finnish the campaign and even map a bit.

That is really impressive. My over under for being impressed when reading this thread was your daughter beating hillock and your son beating act 2, so they both did really well and I underestimated how good they were.

I was happy to beat the campaign after which I retired my character but it took me most of the event. My first character was going really well but fell to Gruthkul trying to go a bit fast. Some of the bosses were pretty hard going in blind. Was a good event. Trinity was probably the hardest boss in the campaign.
