New player and I need some help please

I played PoE 1 but never really got into it so I know very little about the game. I purchased the $60 support package and have 600 points to spend in the shop. I have read that there are certain things to buy that will help me in PoE 2.

1st question: What should I buy that will help me in PoE 2 from the shop?

2nd question: Will gender lock ever change? I know it’s silly for some but I like some character customization.

1 premium tab this is where you can sell items on the market
1 currency tab its a must tab to have storing currencies it would be impossible to play without
1 map tab is also a must to have and would be impossible to play without
1 quad tab i would also say is very good to have its basically 4 tabs into one you can put bunch of stuff in it easier to overview you can also sells items from this tab on the market
1 divination card tab or its gonna be really annoying to store them in normal tabs

those would be like mandatory

1st one : Stash tabs , my advice the currency stash tab is a must , and get at least one quad premium stash tab . and use the rest of the points how you see fit .

if you find stash tabs that you like , or some cosmetic.

2. Gander locked .

Well, the only things that can be helpful are stash tabs.
Besides that, nothing else. Right now it is hard to tell how current stash tabs besides the currency one will translate to PoE2. Just wait for EA to start and buy them then.

Currency stash tab is a must, and if you need, you can get stash tabs for other mechanics and some regular stash tabs, but I would hold until EA start. 100% get at least one premium stash tab, I would suggest a quad one to make it easy to sell items to other players.

To answer your second question. No. They are sticking with premade characters.

About gender lock, I thought I read somewhere they said they may allow to MTX to change their gender. Which I’m good with.

Currency tab
Map Tab
Fragments tab
Cards tab
Essences Tab

Those things fill up fast and clutch your stash.

Rest is usefull but you can live without them.

Uniq tab is kinda usefull if you get that collector thing inside you.

Currency, Map, and 1 Premium Quad tab. Then just go play the again. See what league mechanics you like and what kind of stuff you tend to hoard a lot of. Then see if there is a tab for that and decide for yourself whether you want one.
