POE 2 Game Crash Trigger from unique staff skill

With the unique staff Dusk Vigil, it grants you the fire spell something fuselage. Trying to place a support gem into the slots of that skill it generates will crash the game every time after a few seconds. I had it crash just clicking the slots before without a support gem in hand and it crashed - but not every time for this.
