After Death Purple bombs
I got 82 deaths, 76 of them are from those utterly stupid purple bombs/flowers from monsters that have already died.
With: 1700 life 2100 E Shield 1200 mana (MoM) 20% mitigation with Hellhound Max resists +1 about 6k EhP Total damage pool available: 10.500 I still get one-tapped by this BS. Im lvl 88 fighting lvl 80 mobs. Way to overtuned and it's ruining my Endgame completely. I litterally lost 40-50 maps just to this stupid mechanic that even targets the player's character so its 5-8 bombs around you. It's further more impossible to see until it goes off after that 1 second fuse time making this impossible to dodge or counter. Last bumped on Feb 27, 2025, 11:51:47 PM

I can agree, similarly I feel about the random lightning strikes from rares.
In practical gameplay both are unreactable and you only notice it is there when it already hit you. I'd like some more visibility or warnings in these aspects. |

They are crap, yeah.
I believe they are making them easier to see in the upcoming patch. |

Also sick of these. spend 20+ minutes clearing one of these giant maps just have the last rare mob spawn these under my ice wall , while the npc is frozen , and they one shot me even when I am at full hps and energy shield. then to have to do the map all over. Though I usually just go play something else instead.

I made my first CI character in poe2 recently and omg the game is so much more relaxing without having to worry about these purple balls of doom(blighted ground too).
I didn't mind them at first, I just ran/rolled through them to pop them early. But after half a dozen deaths to these things because they appear in a skinny hallway already packed with mobs/pots, or 1 was hidden behind a pillar/shrub/enemy, or they keep spawning at a rate I can get 1 melee attack off before having to roll through more of them... It got tiring. Unless they add some equally powerful keystone on the far side of the tree like "Physical Innoculation" i think all my characters will be CI from now on. |
