Sacrificial Heart removed but NO skill points?

The Blood sacrifice quest was completed by my friend and I in act 3 but clicking the sacrificial dagger caused both our games to crash, upon reloading, the heart is removed from our inventory but is UNCLICKABLE!

This means we can't cash in on the quest and now have characters missing 2 skill points until they fix the sacrificial heart quest or just automatically give out 2 points to players who placed the heart down, idk really.
