GGG Plz Enable Skin Transfers!

The models already exist/work, let me waste money so I don't look ugly! T_T

They've said they plan to but theres more work involved due to them having to remake all the models for the new rigs of the game, since they updated the rigs of the characters for poe2. They've mentioned it in a few interviews before the release of the EA. (im pretty sure this is correct but feel free to find what was said in some of the interviews)

I'm talking about Skin Transfers, there's no need to remake anything, as it just allows you to put the skins of EXISTING armor in the game onto other items instead.. All they'd have to do is either import the functionality from PoE1 or create it. Far easier than having to remake/re-rig past MTX sets.

Agreed, this is a very good consumable "mtx" in poe2.
I hope GGG will implement it in near time.

It doesn't work like that, a specific model is tied to a mesh your character skeleton if you will. Poe 1 skeleton where all the same across the characters it allowed them to spent way less resource for skin creation animation etc.

They decided to change the formula in poe 2 creating specific skeleton for each char, meaning none of poe 1 skin innately work.

I also want to buy skin transfers to use with the unique items I have found in PoE 2. Almost none of the mtx I have in PoE 1 have been made available yet in PoE 2. Give 1 programmer 1 day to fix this and you will make thousands of dollars.
