comments in this color Original https://poe2db.tw/Infernalist Pyromantic pact -Picking this node player gets two tracker numbers: 1) same original infernal flame with its mechanics to only track when player will get damaged. 2) overflowing infernal flame tracker. This is the actual infernal flame which gains value when player gains infernal flame and decreases when cooling with the only difference that it does not reset to zero when first tracker reaches maximum. This becomes important on later ascendancy nodes Since Pyromantic pact is not that great on its own i think it would be really interesting if Pyromantic pact would change some of the skill tree. Those skill tree changes could be: -x% increased mana regeneration passives changed into x% fire damage taken recouped as life passives. Makes it more easy to tank Pyromantic pact self damage. -Mind over matter keystone could be changed into Mind over flame- fire damage over time no longer interrupts recharge. Now self igniting becomes less awful. At first i wanted to make this keystone to improve fire damage tanking at a cost of energy shield, but eldritch battery somewhat does that already and there will be ascendancy node on tanking fire damage, so i think making energy shield more viable would be a better call Next I have just merged both ascendancy nodes into one and made it less clunky. Yet not 100% sure if its interesting enough. Seething body (big hit ignite branch) -While on High overflowing Infernal Flame, you and Allies in your Presence Gain 20% of Damage as Fire Damage. -While not on Low overflowing Infernal Flame, all Damage from you and Allies in your Presence contributes to Ignite Chance and Magnitude it tracks overflowing infernal flame from pyromantic pact, so its a lot easier to stay on high infernal flame Bringer of Flame minigun branch. High overflowing flame = good tracks overflowing infernal flame. -6% more cast speed per 100 overflowing infernal flame, 1% less damage per 100 infernal flame. Modifiers stop changing after 4500 overflowing infernal flame.After reaching 4500 infernal flame player gets 270% more cast speed, 45% less damage which is 2.035 dps modifier, but it also means 270% more frequent self damage from pyromantic pact and smaller hits being pretty bad for ignite/chill/shock. New node after Pyromantic pact: Fire shield. High overflowing flame = bad grants toggleable skill- Vent heat: -actively decreases both infernal flames while setting player on fire. skill end; next passive buff: -Taking fire damage instead increases both infernal flames. Only works while overflowing infernal flame is lower than maximum infernal flame. This is similar to Mind over matter, it only protects against fire damage, but fire resistance double dips here- fire resistance applies when damage taken increases infernal flame and resistance applies again when reaching maximum infernal flame damages life. demonic possession Honestly not 100% sure on this. I just think that stacks need to go demon form skill. while in demon form: -player can use weapons and shields -15% more move speed and damage. -25% less recovery rate -5 seconds cooldown mastered darkness Not 100% sure on this either 10% more damage gain a zero cost spirit skill: -siphon life. Player regenerates 5% life per second while siphoning life from nearby minion. Can siphon from 1 minion at a time. altered flesh Mild buff 25% of Cold Damage taken as Fire Damage 25% of Lightning Damage taken as Fire Damage 25% of Physical Damage taken as Fire Damage immune to poison damage Makes low life builds more viable.
