Disconnect penalty

Just had a disconnect I think POE2 servers crashed because everything else worked no problem.

I lost a divine orb, I lost 25% XP bar no problem early access unstable servers etc.

But the waypoint I put inside also gets taken? and some how the map I did got marked as completed too.

No bullshit I posted screenshot of my xp bar and everything to discord log back all gone.

Seems quite unfair you lose both items from before starting a map and to the point it disconnects.

I also just had this happen. mid-map disconnect. Lost the waystone that i entered, lost my inventory full (including a number of waystones). No way back into the map, punished without dying

Had same. Twice on same tower. Lost a couple of exalts and a Vaal.

But the compensation was, I redid the map on a T1 (incase I was disconnected again) and I got a Perfect Jewelers Orb!

I recieved an expedition log book my first ever, i go into the map it creates i start placing explosives. I get about half way around the island when bang disconnect. Log back in to find zero portals map is just gone, zero recourse just better luck next time. Now i get you don't want cheaters taking advantage of certain things but you're just punishing the rest of us

Waaaait a second... there's a penalty for PLAYERS for the SERVERS crashing? What sick joke is that?

I'm really tiered of getting disconnected all the time myself.
Was doing a good juiced map - DC to login screen, got back into the game and the map is gone, loot is gone too... and it happened many times during the last few days.

Definitely something wrong with the servers.

same shit! every day i get around 5 times disconnected. at the campaign let's say it not a really big problem but in the endgame it is. I've lost 1div, 2 ex and 1 unique. and like you guys said, there are no compensation, no way to tp back to map. GGG fix this shit or u gonna watch people stop playin this game.

this is not the first game with servers crash or maybe ddos attack but the other ones are giving compensations for this. is not our fault for this shit.

same thing, running a T16 map on a corrupted, irradiated map, disconnected, couldn't join an instance twice before i finally got back in and the portals were gone. With the scarcity of waystones now, this is devastating.

I just lost a ventor's strongbox and a white stellar amu drop so I feel you.

I think the salt in the wound is the map going back to empty trash lol

Nah...on further thought I am dead wrong.

The REAL salt in the wound is that it happens when I finally have a decent map/drops/finds in seeing a ventor.

The BILLIONS of trash useless maps........no issues.

Finally something....... rollback!
