What counts as "on kill" effects

There's plenty effects that can happen on kill, but the most common are clearly about recovering player resources:
- Gain Life/Mana on Kill
- Recover % Life on Kill

There's also overkill effects and corpse effects. Now, my question is:

Do Overkill effects count as kill effects? Or is the left over damage after a kill not connected to the premature expiration of our adversary?

Isn't a "no" better than an ignore?

Also rarity of item find is "On-Kill Effects". So any gem or item which increase on-kill effects increased rarity stats too.

isn't there a support that makes these 'occur twice'? does this stack IIR? lol

also anything 'on kill' doesn't work with totems, however we have other passives that have 'x with skills you use yourself' and many things explicitly stating 'you' type phrasing. Implying 'on kill' being global. it would be much better to have these reworded to make such things clear.
I think they are deliberately making a similarity in meaning. For example if u check "Resolute Technique" passive on skill tree, you will see desc:

"Your hits cant be evaded"

it also means "Your attacks never miss", "Your attacks always hit" or "You dont need accuracy points to ensure your attacks don't miss."

GGG loves to confuse people by using similar phrases in different contexts.
