Make offline trades and insta-buys.
Current trading is a cancer. When you spend hours looking for the thing you want on a website and the seller just won't answer you. When you email dozens of people to buy something and you don't get a response. And then, after some time, from a few minutes to hours, they start sending invitations. The current trade is scaring people away from the game. And not just newbies. I personally stopped playing poe 1 because of it. I was really hoping that a normal auction would be introduced in game 2. For currency trading it was made. And why not for items? " I can save you some time: Not going to happen. This has been suggested time and time again. I'm pretty sure all throughout PoE1. GGG's vision for this is, and I quote Jonathan: "To create friction". Which literally means "Make the experience as miserable as possible for anyone involved" So either live with it, play SSF or say "f it" and spend your money elsewhere. Sad but true. |

" I’m not sure why you guys harp on the old trade manifesto. 11 months ago they said players wouldn’t accept game without instant buyouts anymore. That’s more up to date. |

" And then they launched without that anyway? |

" Experience. And my quote from Jonathan is from an interview from maybe 1-3 months ago. I wouldn't exactly call that "old". But be my guest and waste your effort. Let me know how it works out. I'd be the first to switch back from SSF to trade in an in-game Auction House / Trading Post / w.e. btw, so I wish you luck. But ain't gonna happen. Its 2025 please GGG give us finally an Auction House.
The Currency Exchange is so good compared to whisper 20 players to buy a divine before settlers league. |
