We Seriously Need Visual QOL
Just ran a Delirium in Oasis and I couldn't even see the fog. Shortest delirium I've ever done because it ended without even realizing it just trying to follow the map. We need some serious QOL for visual indicators, from damage and danger zones from enemy attacks or zone mods, to delirium fog flow (which also far too often flows you into dead ends but I digress), to the numerous maps with so much clutter on them I can't tell what's a walkable area and what's out of bounds (which delirium in other maps makes even worse).

We need graphical options that are SPECIFICALLY designed to heighten visual clarity.
We need to clearly know where all monsters are visually, see "dodge or die" AoEs that we need to avoid, etc. at all times. With "good" builds there's often so much visual vomit on the screen I don't know how people can see ANYTHING ... it's no wonder they miss on-death effects and similar. |

I really don't get it. Why people have to ask for it? It's your second fu*kin game with the same mechanic, the same problems and new like stupid pushing.

Joke a part I don't know, seems that they don't care. They don't care about visibility and/or performance issues. I mean...If I make a new game that is beautiful to look but...incomprehensible to play is it still a good game? I for one demand MORE visual clutter!
-Why can we move the Bloom slider below 100%?? It should be permastuck at 200%. MINIMUM! -EVERY on-death effect should look exactly the same and just randomly in the background decide if it actually does damage and in how big of an area! -When Mobs get shattered, they should leave behind non-traversable BOULDERS that brick your map at least half the time! -Flash Grenades should literally blind you through the monitor! Wait, they already kinda do that... nvm -Enemy mob's abilities should ALWAYS have the exact same colour and structure as your own spells. They are still sometimes distinguishable! -Enemy Mobs and your own Minions should randomly switch sides. I sometimes DON'T try to target my own goddamn allies and wonder why the spell doesn't connect! -Some pebbles are almost distinguishable from the grass before they block your dodge roll! Make them greener! -There is still the odd wall that actually phases out so you can see what you're fighting. Where is the fun in that? WE DEMAND TO NEVER KNOW WTF WE'RE FIGHTING! If there is no wall, just put something else there randomly. -When a river looks the exact same in two spots in Red Vale, you can still see which one is traversable on the minimap. THAT IS CHEATING! Disable the minimap! |

it's not "after death mechanics" are killing people, it's the fact they are barely visible/audiable. Overall visual clarity of staff is very low. Burning ground? Cant see at at all.

actually, yes. One thing poe never had but people said "it will be better with poe2" is visual clarification
we get almost none. I just died now, and since i used to play hc (i honestly cant play because i know I WILL DIE because of that. so i just gave up for now), i cant care much. Visual clarification is in a horrible state for the ammount of one shot that we need to "dodge" (i say dodge because it doesnt even get us real iframes so... yeah...). I know, its EA, but i do hope things gets better. Crafting system? none. Loot? same thing as rares in poe1 except i can just gamble, and not really craft. leveling? quite good if it wasnt for some gamebreaking bugs and the unreasonable ammount of oneshot some mobs and almost every boss has. I coomend for the pause button, but i that aside, cant say much more about the game. I dont like to talk about other games, but LE, while still being new and low with endgame content has so much QoL and clarity... i can even target farm with their "prophecies" system (something that would be ridiculously easy to implement on PoE, considering we already had a prophecy league). They even have a DEATH LOG! I actually love poe and would like for it to solve so many old problems. i still have hope because its just an EA. |
