Ritual Precursor Tablet Drop Rate

Hey fellow exiles,

I've been grinding maps in Path of Exile 2, and I've noticed a stark contrast in the drop rates between Ritual Precursor Tablets, Precursor Tablets and Breach Precursor Tablets. It seems like the Ritual tablets are dropping at a significantly lower rate.

From my experience, after running dozens of maps, the Breach tablets seem to appear with regularity, especially when you're actively engaging with Breach mechanics. However, when it comes to Ritual tablets, even with maps juiced up for higher item quantity, rarity, and pack size, they are elusive, almost non-existent.


This discrepancy might be intentional game design to balance the mechanics, or it could be an oversight that might be addressed in future patches.

Does anyone else feel this imbalance? Have you found any strategies or atlas passives that boost the Ritual tablet drop rates? Or should we chalk this up to RNG and keep on mapping?

Only naturally spawned ritual encounters found on the map drop ritual tablets.

Hence bookmark them in order to find them.

Consequently ritual tablets do not drop in rituals created by precursor towers.
