Am I the Only One Underwhelmed by POE 2's Art Style?
In my opinion, a significant portion of the assets appear as though they were designed using CAD software, resulting in a lack of artistic refinement. Many of the tiles suffer from poor visual quality, with everything being overly segmented into small, narrow paths. The overall layout feels excessively grid-like, which detracts from the sense of immersion and makes the design look inexpensive or rushed. While some tile sets are relatively well-executed, the majority fall short in terms of aesthetic appeal and cohesiveness.
The open maps exhibit a stronger visual quality, particularly when they are devoid of any assets. However, as soon as assets are introduced, the overall presentation diminishes noticeably.
