Loss of characters and items after game crash

Dear Path of Exile 2 Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am contacting you regarding an issue I experienced while playing the game. Last night, while playing with my main character, a level 89 Witch, and a level 69 mercenary (warrior level 74), the game froze and crashed every time I tried to change maps. After restarting the game and my computer, I discovered that my characters had disappeared. Initially, I thought my account had been hacked, but after creating a new character (an archer around level 2 or 4) and checking my stash, I noticed that some of my items were still there. However, I lost everything my characters had equipped, including my items, time invested, and progress. Since I have been playing since the game’s launch and have invested a considerable amount of time and resources, I would like to know if there is any way to recover my characters, I would also appreciate it if my character could be restored to the level it was before the incident or, if recovery is not possible, if my current archer could be leveled up to match the previous level of my Witch. Hey there, if you have not already done so can you please ensure that you're accessing the correct League in Path of Exile?
