About the new announcement

What I did capture from the video is that "The most urgent priority was getting Poe2 to a point where it didn't have MAJOR issues. And it's hard to even think about what Poe1 needs when Poe2 has really Obvious problems that need fixing." Well, at least Devs do know and admit that Poe2 has major issues and obvious problems, and they are putting those as the top priority to fix it. It is actually good news, at least for Poe2, right? XD

im not sure if you are joking or not, i just find very often in forums lately people getting Fk*d by companies and tryin to justify them.

It looks like gamers have lost touch with the reality of things which is most of the time developers and game houses putting out a half baked buggy unfinished product for money. Just to grab your money "then we'll fix it, eventually"

This is the modern era of gaming, almost all games are crap due to this.

I am so confused how people can forgive and close an eye to this attitude, do you forget you payed 30$ to play this game? which is absurd because you are paying to test something.. its 99% of the times free becuase you are doing a favor to the company, so we are paying the company making them a favor (unreal).

They had 13 years experience on developing poe1, and they are still stuck on stubborn old ideas from the 2000's.. They do not listen, they throw at you a copy paste with even more bugs and problems than the product they published before (poe1), having back even bugs and UI issues that they resolved there.

What does it say to you? that they are simply out for the money. And that they will have a huge backlash because of this. I heard the gaming world criticizing blizzard for diablo 4, and here the history repeats itself.

What a shame.People really need to wake up and clearly understand how these companies are litterally draining money from you delivering a subpar product that not even that far in time back then was completely unacceptable.
Now it became the norm.

What? Draining how? You knew that game is in EA and you gave them your money willingly. No one hacked your bank account and took your money or threat your life of you don't pay. No one is draining money from you.

No, you payed to be able to play the game before it comes out, instead of waiting. Nobody forced you to pay either.

Given that most games cost way more than 30$ dollars and usually give me way less entertainment its not really something I can complain about at least.

I worked in a video/CD store years ago as a retail manager. You'd be shocked how many people came in pissed off that our (not Target) CD didn't have the "Target Exclusive Track" on it. Demanding refunds, calling corporate, demanding my home address (yep, had that happen once).

That's what these tantrums are. Either misunderstanding the process and not bothering to learn or having such concrete internal expectations that nothing external even means anything to them anymore.

The people taking your money can't be held accountable for the personal reasons you shouldn't have spent it that you never told them.
They will listen when you stop playing their games, and when the sound of coins stops. Then they will listen.

Let them release a league in Poe-1. That way they will have time for their Poe-2, because nobody will complain because they will be playing Poe-1, which is what we want, given the fiasco that Poe-2 has been, even copying the succession of acts from Diablo-2, desert, jungle, always east, always east... ufff, how unoriginal, this is not the GGG I thought I knew... The usual resort to stupid time travel, with the messes and nonsense that they come up with (maybe copying Last Epoch?). I thought GGG were original, something changed.

But silencing a friend for saying "budding dictators", an unimportant comment, for 2 months, in the Poe-2 chat, his first punishment... they do have time for that. I play for fun, and so does my friend, not for senseless censorship. Work GGG and don't bother your potential customers!
i feel like its a bit the other way where GGG use EA/open beta periods for the correct reasons, to have invested players who care test their games and contribute money, man hours and feedback to the development process.

the problem actually is that players have been sold EA by shitty companies who had a finished game that was already beta tested, polished and ready to ship. but they then sold a completely unnecessary EA period just to exploit their player base and rip them off.

so now their idea of what an EA actually is has been completely warped, not by ggg but by actual shit companies like blizzard.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
It's good news, because to solve a problem, you have to at least recognize the problem, first. That being said, I kind of hope they learn to stay within their capacity.

In my opinion, I would like them to not poach employees from one product to another. It really hurt both games. Obviously, it hurt PoE1, because we are not seeing a new league, any time soon. But it also hurt PoE2, because it fooled the developers into thinking they have a bigger capacity than they actually did.

Next time, I would be happy to see a smaller PoE1 league and less PoE2 content, delivered on time. There are no small games, only games that don't reach the expectations that were set.

(I'm personally happy with PoE2 as it is right now, btw.)

EDIT: Also, GGG's attitude of "go nuts until the last day of development" is what gave us years and years of amazing new content FOR FREE in PoE1. We can't then blame them for having the same attitude in PoE2's development. This is the same old GGG that we have always loved and still do.

should have been ONE game like they said it was going to be.

at least we'd all be in the mess together.
Innocence forgives you
