This is, in my memory, one of the worst moments for GGG. Months behind due to time mismanagement on top of an explosion of support for their new game, far beyond what they initially expected I'm sure.
That said, I see a lot of people calling anyone not FURIOUS right now a corporate, scum-sucking, bootlicking, delusional moron. You're all screaming "JUDAS!" but guess what? You're not Jesus f'n Christ. You're not being personally attacked. No one is attempting to destroy your entire life for $30. There are thousands of good games out there, plenty of them free to play, and nothing stopping you from coming back to PoE in a few months, except your own exclamations of "THIS IS THE LAST STRAW!" I mean, if you're done, you're done. But don't be the person who gets a divorce then calls every day for a month begging for them back. Just go. See how you feel when updates come. I mean, they stated endgame was barebones. Not everyone's going to like it. I can't say more than that.

word. i think 2 lessons for us all in life are to be more forgiving and to learn to let things go.
were all human, we all make mistakes. its ok, forgive and be forgiven. when it comes to negativity, we cling to it from a sense of injustice, we dont want to let it go but really were just harming ourselves and the people around us. when we become the source of the negativity because were the one clinging on to it then we become the problem. life is too short, no one needs to make it any harder for themselves and no one wants to be around other people who are always angry and bringing down the vibe. you dont have long on this earth, spend that time involved with things you really love. if you dont really love it and its bringing negativity into your world then learn to let it go. if you do love it then treat it with love. trust me, i struggle with these things as much as anyone. i have adhd and a symptom of it can be finding it harder to let go of emotional states. i dont say this as a saint, im right there in the struggle too as much as anyone. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

Whatever the case, the conclusion is clear: you have to stop playing Poe until they get it on a better track.
The flaws in the game are monumental, and they do not honor the many years of Poe-1, from which they have benefited to get the numbers they have in Poe-2, let's not kid ourselves. All the money they have earned now they owe to Poe-1 and its fame. Conclusion: stop playing it, it is the only way they will understand that they are on the wrong path, otherwise they will not correct themselves. I have played Poe-1 for years, and these people have silenced a friend for saying "dictators in the making" in a comment about Poe-2, I find it abusive, and it is not the first time. Maybe they think they are the only ones in the universe and can abuse people, but it is not like that, they just have more money and believe they are above the others due to that money that we have given them. If you want them to listen to you, they listen to the coins in your pocket. Talk to them, or they won't listen to you. We want fun and respect, but they won't give it to us if they get what they want without requiring them to treat us like people and take care of the game like they did with Poe-1. If a good league were to emerge in Poe-1, Poe-2 would be left as what it is in reality (aside from the financial success): a fiasco. This was not the case with the previous GGG managers. Speak clearly, players, or they won't listen to you. With the sound and with the decision to play something or not, they do listen to that. |

Agreed. And a couple months of lower player count won't hurt them if the upcoming patch is a banger. That's just the truth that's been shown time after time. Doomers being doomers then a new league and record retention numbers. Happened all the time.

I mean people are watching ranting videos, reading hate comments because they feel the exact same way and they want to hear this opinion from someone else to legitimize their own opinion. Now that it is clearly stated that PoE1 is abandoned and we even have to wait for god knows how long to get some work done for PoE2, people DO HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE ANGRY. Who do you think will provide feedback for GGG if not those who actually see the flaws. You want them to leave? Do you think those happy little clueless morons will provide meaningful feedback?
