One-Shot by a White Mob in T14—Game Is Broken

Got one-shot by a white mob carrying a wheel in T14. My gear isn't even that bad, and there were no mob-enhancing modifiers. This game is broken. I'm done—waiting for the next patch

Your Life? Resistances? Defenses? Waystone mods?

all res 75, life 1800ish, ES 1000

armor? phys damage reduction? rares around with auras? a shrine nearby?

If you're talking about a slam, if it crit, I could see it taking off 2800 ehp with no phys resistance at all. I think theirs may have a sunder-like effect where there are stages of damage too, coulda been caught in a couple at once.

That might be something to look at for those guys though - I know a couple of the big slam mobs have multi-stage damage that can shotgun.

1800 Life + 1000 ES is quite low especially if you run waystone with something like

- enemies deal more damage
- enemies deal extra damage as
- enemies deal more critical damage
- players have elementa weakness

Also large enemies have usualy one or more slow but really hard hitting attacks which can be hard to survive with let's say less than 4k ehp.

Also paths of shocked ground. Happened to me once in stone citadel, when the sniper mob (the one that throws lightning ball then shoots it) hit me while on full hp and es (500hp 6,5k es, 75 lightning res). It was probably a crit too. Anyway it's still fair imo.
Game is not broken. If you avoid your weaknesses you'll be fine. I avoid -max res, elemental weakness and reduced es recharge rate and I'm fine 😊 if I go to citadel I avoid shocked ground + insanely high crit for mobs because my build can't handle that for now. Read maps, find what kills you and avoid it

SSF 94, t15 map
Everything is fine, but 2 days ago 1 average white mob, not even a big one, without any damage map mods, killed me with a single regular punch.
1000 hp, 1500 mana (mom), 5000 ES, no armor.
It happened only once, usually entire screen of such trash cannot scratch me.

thx for the info, guys. The waystone only has chill ground, and besides that, there's Quan and Rarity. I think I'm going to be extra careful with those large mobs.
