PoE 1 delay beyond disappointing
Let me say first that I really like PoE 1 and 2. I have great fun playing both. And I tend to hold GGG in high regards.
I am the kind a player who plays a league for 4-8 weeks and then I play something else to come back for the next league. To me switching between PoE 1 and 2 leagues would have been perfect. PoE 2 is in a playable state now. So the only logical way forward would be to focus on 3.26. Using manpower for PoE 2 0.2.0 since the last big patch on January 17th is just a waste of time. This is already 2 weeks 3.26 development time wasted. To me this just defies logic (from a gamer point of view). You should have focused on 3.26 and once that is live you would have had 2-3 month to work on 0.2.0 while players play PoE 1. Given, many players will play 0.2.0. Even I myself will most likely try it out for a few days. But many players like me would need another game (PoE 1) in between. So for me the situation is, wait for 3.26, then start playing PoE again and hopefully bounce between PoE 1 and 2 leagues. Last bumped on Jan 30, 2025, 12:17:42 PM

If they don't see their numbers going down in Poe-2 (Path of Rutless) they won't launch a league in Poe-1, because they want to artificially inflate Poe-2's numbers, that's why they don't pay attention to their star game of the last 13 years, to force us to play Poe-2. They pay attention to the numbers, to the sound of the coins, that's what they pay attention to. If they really want them to launch a league in Poe, they could do it tomorrow, recycling an old league (with one old league a month, endless fun), but they don't do it because they manipulate us and lie to us, it's not that they can't, it's that they don't want to. Conclusion: if we don't talk with numbers, they won't listen to us.

Poe1 will slowly be put on life support over the next couple years. Poe2 will be the better game in time.
