My experience with "incorrect hash" during patching and crashes

Hello!
First, I'd like to say that when trying to download through GGG client I'd get the "incorrect hash" error, on almost every file. This would not happen if I used Steam or epic launcher. I eventually got GGG client going, by using data from steam/epic. Also, that the frequent crashing didn't start until a patch around 20th of Jan. Although I think the problem was still there before the latest patches, just not as noticeable. Problem with downloading always existed Until I found "my" solution.

While playing, I'd crash on loading into maps often, I'd crash while porting to another players encampment, I'd also crash randomly here and there. Some of the errors were Kernell.dll faulting and others POE2, bsod etc.

I did fresh install of win 10 and 11, updated everything! drivers, bios and had same results with poe2. I'll point out that every other game I played I had no issues in downloading or playing.

Anyways, what fixed it is taking out 2 of the 4 sticks of ram that were on MoBo. They were all the same timing, exact same brand, model... everything. However, I did add 2 of the sticks some months after I built pc. Ran memory tests which did not come back with any problems.

I remove the 2 sticks and downloaded through GGG client without a single error. And have not crashed since. I'm sure there is something I can do to get that ram working in the system, but for now 32gb is fine. Perhaps I'll reset cmos and add them back in when I get bored.

I'm just posting this for anyone else having similar issues. Ram could be problem and solution.
