Vaal city map boss Demonform interaction

When you enter the boss arena on Vaal city map Demon form is immediately turned off. basically turning off majority of your damage. this feels like an unintentional consequence of being forced into the cutscene like movement when entering the boss arena. could this be adjusted so we can maintain demonform?

Yeah this completely screwed me. I died almost immediately because of this -_-
