Simulacrum is WAY too overtuned
This activity is the hardest content in the game by a very large margin. I have a lvl 94 monk with 900k buffed dps, max res, and 8200 ES (when doubled). It laughs at all bosses, other league mechanics, and any map mod combo that isn't burning ground. Tried Simulacrum the first time with a melee build and got smoked by round 10 because delirious monsters apparently can't be frozen and shattered. Spent time, effort, and currency completely switching my build to non-melee and died in round 13.
I understand wanting the pinnacle activities to be challenging, but this activity (at least the lowest difficulty) should be accessible by a wide variety of build types and not just a few ranged/caster builds with heavy gear investment. Last bumped on Feb 7, 2025, 9:16:49 PM

Having high difficulty on and game systems is very good for the game as long as it feels rewarding vs the cost of entry. The character balance is likely to change a lot even at the next major patch so tuning the mechanic too much down makes little sense right now. They most certainly needs all kind of difficulties in the game. This one just happens to be the toughest "general clear" content right now. If every aspect of end game has the same difficulty they end up not being able to test all character power levels.
