Group play, feedback, possible suggestions
Social Panel:
Missing filters to search for parties: Level Loot type (free for all, short, permanent allocation) Ability to sort parties based on the number of participants and loot type. Party Creation Modes: Allow creating a party with two join modes: invite-only and open. Allow writing a short description of your character to indicate your role/build when joining a party. These two options would help prevent people from joining maps at random and then leaving as soon as they die; it’s natural that in juiced maps an under-leveled character or one with low defenses gets blown up at the first hit. BUG: If someone joins after the group leader has entered the map, they cannot use the portals; the only way to access them is for the leader to exit the map. Obviously, this situation is almost impossible since it would waste a portal unnecessarily. Other Issues: In the social list, parties are marked as full when the total number of participants reaches 5, leaving one slot empty. Moreover, if someone dies, they can’t rejoin. What’s the point? Improvements: Remove the “encumbrance” from characters. It’s literally nauseating to have a stacker in the party who can push you around the map. Enable group map resurrection, or create a class or a skill capable of doing so. Last bumped on Feb 16, 2025, 4:17:42 AM

Another improvement that could be made to boost group play would be the following:
When creating a group, the leader has the option to choose which type of currency the rest of the group can loot; this would be an additional mode alongside the ones already available (free for all, short and permanent allocation). Essentially, it would involve having a dropdown menu where the party leader selects the currencies that only they can pick up. Example: I create a party, and naturally, I invest in towers and maps and would like to see a return. From the party menu, I select that I want to loot only Divine, Mirror, and Chaos currencies, while the rest of the loot remains free for everyone else in the group—much like in maps where only the person who opened the map can take the loot. In my opinion, this would increase the use of group play via the social panel. In a well-designed map with the right towers, it’s possible to drop more than 100 exalts per map, in addition to various fragments from breaches and delirium, not to mention gold, which is also a source of income through Alva and can make a difference for players who aren’t well-equipped. |
