Account linking question

I currently play on ps5, if i create a PC account and link that to my current ps5 account would i then have access to my ps5 characters and/or items on PC for POE1.
I understand that any MTX and stash tabs would not carry over and not be usable from ps5 to PC for POE1, but am unsure about characters/items. Anybody know the answer for this? , Thanks. Last bumped on Feb 14, 2025, 1:50:50 AM

No. PoE 1 has no cross-play support.
From the account merging announcement: No. While you can share the same account on Path of Exile 1 on Console and PC, the characters will not be shared because Path of Exile 1 does not support Cross Play. 😹😹😹😹😹 I do not and will not use TFT.
