Support response times

Hello, I'm curious for average reply times these days, for support responses, not per my personal request but since my friend's account is locked he cannot login in any place by pathofexile.com
What's been passed to me is the last time GGG replied to him asking for his account name with discriminator and some character names for ownership verification and this was back at 1st of this month (original ticket dates back some time more for the initial account locked query). Is there even any hope for him to be able to play in Phrecia event with me at this point? More importantly, in this case, should he just send in another email to make sure the follow up reply was received? Is there even a way to check if not whether or not ticket is just in progress or some what if of email delivery issue happened and GGG never received the response on their end?
