NERF - Reduced Attribute Requirements
This is ruining items, for everyone. It is a niche modifier. As such, it should not spawn so frequently. Getting this, takes away the potential to get something universally useful. PLEASE, stop the madness

Yep, whenever i'm exalting an item for more stats, if I see that one I just stop and toss it in the trash bin.

Divines don't drop that often for all of us and by the time we get them, the market/league wants 250+ for an item while we get 1 drop per 80 levels.
Exalteds are weird too to use as trade currency, while we're on that topic. So many things utilize them yet they drop less frequently than gold but they are basically used as gold. (to craft, trade, upgrade/downgrade items depending on affix/suffix/prefix) So to trade for divines to gear up and make money, we need gold, exalts, orbs of trans/alch/regal, omens, divines, various other currencies, runes, soul cores. For all those, we need exalts, to get exalts we need a geared char, to get a geared char we need divines and exalts. Endless loop of "not enough". Because of a teeny tiny reason, exalts are being used like gold and when used in large quantities to craft items to make other resources, its like 2 steps forward 3 steps back. I have no solution yet, just stating something I find amusing with the economy here. I know there are work-arounds in regards to this and that and whatever methods but i'm just pointing out the obvious. We require a proper trading currency that isn't also used for everything else but at the same time being rare. We should be using Orbs of Transmutation or Alchemy (whatever those 2 blue ones are), not exalteds. On top of that, we should be able to trade gold to each other and use the orbs for crafting. Poe 2 has gold, why we can't trade it and utilize it as a trade-system but we have to use exalts is weird to me (im new to poe 1 and 2) |
