Linking Accounts

I will preface by saying I've looked into this for well over an hour before I took to the forums. I've watched multiple youtube guides and read official announcement, and community posts. Yet none of them gave a satisfactory answer. So I'm taking to the forums for more information.

Trying to buy POE2 a second time on my xbox (account already linked), but I want to be able to use the coins on my xbox account for my main account, which is steam. Despite being linked the wallets, purchases and characters are all separate. How can I use the funds on sub-account1 (steam) after buying the game a second time on sub-account2 (xbox) when the wallets are separate?

I read online that you need to contact the dev's but they've already not addressed a previous ticket of mine, and I see they have an announcement that they've fallen behind on the tickets. Is my only option to contact the team that is buried by other tickets and most likely not going to respond in a timely manner? Please tell me if there is another way. Thank you.

You cannot do what you are wanting to do. Support may be able to transfer the points from one account to another. No guarantees that they will. You would need to email support@grinddinggear.com with your request. There is no other way.

Thank you for the information and the reply, even if it does bare bad news, its most likely saved me a lot of time talking with customer support, xbox, steam, and my bank.

In an official forum post (link to post:https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3586288) they mentioned you need to contact support and implied it was guaranteed as they don't state that your request can be denied.

So if I want to play my main account on my xbox I would need to buy a second key, and effectively be prepared to lose $30 of in-game currency as there is a very strong likelihood that they will deny my request? That's actually bonkers and deeply upsetting for a game that allegedly offers cross-progression. I guess its just best to not buy the game/package a second time if I can't actually keep the currency it offers on my main account.

Hi Vash. Thank you for the reply and the PM and thanks for moving my thread in a more appropriate location. Unfortunately, I have already contacted support. Upon seeing their announcement saying that they are behind schedule on addressing tickets, I doubt that I will get a response in a timely manner, if I even get a response. Which would be doubly true for request them to move my funds into the proper sub-account. That being said, if you could give me any additional information or confirm or debunk anything that has been said on this thread that would be greatly appreciated.
