Gameplay flow regarding leaving maps multiple times to stash loot
I know there has been a lot of chatter about 1 portal/attempt per map. My biggest issue currently with the design of 1 portal per map is the way it makes me play the game. I end up portaling in and out of the map to stash loot I've collected after completing a league mechanic, to make sure I don't lose it in case I die.
This is terrible gameflow. I hate doing this. Even if GGG wanted to stick to their guns about 1 attempt per map, I can go with that. I'm also OK with the XP death penalty, even though God knows how long I've been stuck at level 93. But even if I die in a map, let me just go back and collect all my loot. Not having that option makes me go back and forth once my inventory is full and I just think it's the most cumbersome bad design out there. I'm enjoying the map, I'm in the flow and now I have to go back and stash my stuff, exhault it if it's going to be good, trash 90% of it cause I didn't hit anything worth keeping and then go back to fighting. Can I not do this in the end when I've either cleared it all or died? Please GGG change this aspect of the game. I would love to just run a map from start to end without having to portal in and out 3-4 times. Last bumped on Feb 19, 2025, 2:19:17 AM
